Amy Selstad is an author and illustrator of picture books based in Phoenix, Arizona. Amy has also worked as a freelance Illustrator for 6 years and as a graphic designer for 4 years for various companies. Past clients have included Dua Kota, PBS Reno (KNPB), Heart Hands & Feet Corp., Heart & Soul Marketing, CAS Tech Designs, The Point Magazine, and Biola UniversityWhenever there is a chance to beat the Arizonan heat, Amy enjoys going on hikes and collecting outdoor trinkets. Her love of nature has grown into a source of inspiration for most of her work. She hopes that her art will draw attention to the beauty of nature, teach children to appreciate the world around them, and help them see the importance of protecting it.
