Sooryamoorthy is Professor of Sociology & Fellow, University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, and a Research Fellow at the DSI-NRF Centre of Excellence in STI Policy, Stellenbosch University, South Africa. Sampson Lee Blair is a Family Sociologist and Demographer at The State University of New York, Buffalo, USA. A Fulbright Scholar Award recipient, he has served as Chair of the Children and Youth research section of the American Sociological Association and Vice-President of the Research Committee on Youth in the International Sociological Association.
