Autor

Maria Drozdetskaya, known in the world of Instagram and sewing as Masha Rossa, was born on 15 April 1990 in the town of Volzhsk, Russia. From an early age she showed an interest in creativity, but her true passion for sewing was ignited the first moment she picked up a needle. After graduating from vocational school as a pattern-making seamstress, Maria continued to develop her art by learning in many master classes in order to improve her skills. Subsequently, an online course in womenswear design and a specialised 3D patternmaking course enabled her to broaden her horizons. After moving to Italy in 2011, she gained further knowledge by learning how to use CAD (computer-aided design). A basic course in fashion design at the Burgo Institute in Brescia underlined her dedication to fashion and design. At the age of 24, Maria courageously opened her own sewing shop, specializing in repairing garments, customizing garments of varying complexity and also making wedding dresses. After four years of dedicated work, the workshop closed, but that did not stop Maria. Her professional collaborations with women's and men's tailoring ateliers have underlined her ability to adapt and collaborate with a whole host of clients. Since 2019, Maria has consolidated a strong online presence, starting her blog on Instagram. Her intuitive understanding of fashion and desire to share her experiences with others have become a source of inspiration for many aspiring
