Unbeknownst to Cathy, she's working for a firm owned by a notorious Mafioso. Heather's boss shuts down his business because of constant wiseguy shakedowns, and Julie's boss tells her there's nothing wrong with murder. Putting their troubles aside, they party at Studio 54 and take summer shares in the Hamptons, where Cathy meets a Wall Street investment banker who helps launch her eponymous brand of eveningwear that puts her on the cover of Vogue.
