Surprisingly, a concrete reference book is lacking that will address Se role in agriculture tracing it's journey from arable soil to spoon via crop's response (physiological, molecular, metabolomics, transcriptomics etc.) to field scale application. Moreover, the importance of Se in agriculture will be the area of prime focus with topics like Se's role in biotic, abiotic stress, biofortification under the era of globally operating climate change regime. Additionally, the contribution of Se in post-harvest phase will be given an equal importance to illustrate Se's role as well as the toxicological aspect too.
