The fundamental subject of this book relates to the abnormalities that make secondary rhinoplasty necessary and challenging. Secondary rhinoplasty begins with the basic anatomy of the nose that often predetermines which technique is possible and which technique is realistic. Each region of the nose and its particular anatomy is analyzed and explained as a specific unit and as part of the total aspect of management. Reconstruction of the nose, biologic deteriorations, tumors, the effects of ageing, and associated congenital abnormalities are also realistically dealt with.
