The first chapter gives an overview of the concept of" the second wave drama" referring to its main technical and thematic devices. It refers also to the main pioneers of" the second wave drama". The second chapter analyzes the technical devices used in the four plays under study showing whether they reflect an influence by the drama of" the second wave" or not. The third chapter stands on the main themes of the plays under study showing the relation between the ideas in the studied plays and the ideas discussed in the drama of" the second wave".
