JC Carr was born into a large family in Saint Louis, Missouri. After completing her history degree at Framingham State College in Massachusetts, her career took her from Boston back to her hometown. Through a variety of jobs in nonprofit organizations and the automotive industry, and now teaching English as a Second Language, she followed a path of serving and helping people. Sparked by her love for reading and writing JC began writing poetry in the midnineties.
