Science is our quest for understanding the order that manifests in the external world around us and Spirituality is our quest for discovering order in the inner world of our consciousness as virtue, by eliminating the disorder caused by the negative emotions like anger, jealousy, hatred, fear etc. A lot of the disorder is caused by illusions in our mind which can be ended by discerning what ir true and what is false or unreal. Such learning leads to self-knowledge, which is the key to wisdom. Both inquiries need to be promoted in education so that a student is able to grow both in knowledge and in wisdom thereby creating a mind that is both efficient and humane. Knowledge lends power and ability which can be used destructively if there is no wisdom. Therefore Science without wisdom goes wrong.This book shows how we can grow both in knowledge and in goodness by promoting both science and spirituality as two complimentary inquiries into truth.
