Thus, in this context, we can draw the following problematic: What are the factors that could explain the phenomenon of repetition? In order to carry out this study on the repetition of school years in the junior cycle in Algeria, the most adopted method for the nature of the information to be collected on the ground is the "survey by sampling", it is a technique which makes it possible to collect information on a part of the population in order to study certain characteristics, by constituting a sample of individuals which one will question.
