The Scale insects is a very important group of insects including many injurious species of ornamental, agricultural and green house plants; they feed on different parts of plants including roots trunks, stems, leaves, buds and fruits. Diaspididae is the largest family of the superfamily Coccoidea, with more than 2400 species. The family Diaspididae is present in Egypt by 94 species belonging to 47 genera; the classification, as followed, in the present work concerning 2 Subfamilies: Aspidiotinae and Diaspidinae.
