As Sean learns what it takes to be a man in a world that belongs to the fittest, he soon discovers how far mankind's cruelty extends when there are no rules to follow or laws to govern. Now only time will tell if he can survive long enough to save his people or whether he will be just another victim of a harsh new world.

Inspired by his children, he reflected on the rich Puerto Rican and Ecuadorian roots that shaped him. During train rides to and from New York City, the idea for Juan Forgets was born as he thought about the importance of passing traditions down to the next generation.Through this story, Luis hopes to inspire young readers to explore their roots, embrace their heritage, and appreciate the significance of their unique identities.
