A collection of poems blurring the line between language and medicine. All poems are based on patients that have passed through the trauma bay in my two years of interning in acute care as an homage to the humanity of healthcare that can be lost in traditional interpretations.

Autor

Anna Mohanty is a poet who uses her work to blend science and art through narrative medicine. She is a Washington D.C. based trauma surgery intern who has worked on bioengineering HIV-1 drugs. Her poetry has been featured in the National High School Poetry Anthology, Words for the World published by Day Eight, and the Arlington Transit Moving Words program.
