Samba, the hunter was married to the village hairdresser, Kumba. One day he went out hunting and did not return. He lived for many years in the bush with a woman named Binta who was a jiinn. She was so jealous that she would change Samba into a lion if he had to meet people. One day, the hunter went to see his wife. He agreed that Kumba could plait the hair of her friend, Sibo.
