Terrlyn L. Curry Avery, PhD, MDiv, is the founder of Sacred Intelligence, LLC, a counseling practice where she merges spirituality and psychology in her treatment of individuals with psychological and emotional problems. As a clinical psychologist and ordained minister in the Presbyterian denomination, she is rigorous in not imposing her religious and spiritual beliefs upon her clients. Rather, she and her staff guide individuals, couples, families, and groups as they recognize their divine power to make intelligent choices that will transform their lives-mind, body, and soul. She is the host of the public access TV program Sacred Intelligence With Your Host Dr. Terrlyn L. Curry Avery. Dr. Curry Avery has a PhD in Clinical and School Psychology from Hofstra University, a master of divinity degree from Yale University, a master of arts in psychology from American University, and a bachelor of science in psychology from Howard University. Dr. Curry Avery lives in Connecticut with her husband, two children, and a rambunctious dog.
