High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Sacabamba Municipality is the fourth municipal section of the Esteban Arce Province in the Cochabamba Department, Bolivia. Its seat is Sacabamba. At the time of census 2001 the municipality had 4,718 inhabitants. On the third level, below departments and provinces, Bolivia is divided into municipalities. As an effect of decentralization the number of municipalities in Bolivia has risen from an initial twelve (1994) to circa 320 today, 130 of these being inhabited by mainly indigenous population.
