Laurel Conran, a retired ESOL teacher and loving grandmother, is passionate about butterfly gardens and traveling. In March 2024, she embarked on a memorable journey to the Monarch Sanctuary in El Rosario, Mexico, despite two knee surgeries. Laurel's determination to experience the magical sight of monarch butterflies guiding the way to the sanctuary was made possible with the help of Sid and Chris from Explora Latin America and author Debbie Clement. Today, she cherishes this unforgettable adventure as a dream come true and shares her experiences in her book, Running with Monarchs, to inspire others with her love for nature's beauty.
