This book aims to describe the activities carried out during the period from March 9, 2015, to August 10, 2015, related to the mandatory internship of the Agronomy Course, developed at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation - Embrapa Clima Temperado, Terras Baixas Experimental Station, in the municipality of Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. During this period, activities were carried out at the Official Seed Analysis Laboratory, accredited by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Supply (MAPA). Among the activities carried out were the analysis of purity and physical composition of the sample, where the component parts were separated into pure seeds, inert material, and other seeds, with the result expressed as a percentage. Determination of other seeds by number, complementing the purity analysis. Conducting, implementing, and evaluating germination tests, evaluating the vigor of soybean and rice seeds, and determining the degree of moisture by the oven method at 105 °C for 24 hours.
