There has been an upsurge in the women entrepreneurs over a period, especially in 1990's. Presently, an analysis states that women entrepreneurs comprise of 10% of the total entrepreneurs in India. With the current trend continuing, women entrepreneurship will comprise 20% of total entrepreneurial force in the upcoming five years. Women entrepreneurship is highly imperative and a foundational stepping-stone as it recognized an all-round development and boost in the economic growth. This not only creates employment across the country for themselves, but also for others and cracks managerial, organizational, and business-oriented obstacles with innovative approach and appropriate solutions. Besides this, it aids in the financial growth of the families and communities, thereby reducing poverty. Entrepreneurship is a process where one capacitates himself to undertake self-employment and provide job opportunities for others. The person who starts this is called 'entrepreneur.
