Roger Ljung (born January 8, 1966 in Lomma, Skåne, Sweden) is a former Swedish National Team football player. Since retiring from football, Ljung has become a successful football agent, representing big names such as Fredrik Ljungberg and Teddy Lucic.Roger Ljung was born and raised in Lomma. Roger started playing football at the age of six. Despite living in Lomma, young Roger started his football career at Lunds BK. At the time, Lomma had no football club that took in six year-olds.Ljung started his football career at age 6 with Lunds BK Youth team. In 1983, he was called up to the senior team. He stayed until he was pursued by Malmö FF in 1985. Ljung was mostly played as a substitute for the first two year with the club. It wasn't until a long term injury of another player that would enable Ljung with a more permanent position in the club. During his time with MFF, the team had won the league five consecutive years in a row.
