The road was rocky, yet the road was strewn with compassion, love, and joy. I did not travel it alone. God, the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Great Holy Spirit were right there on that road with me. They never left me. They gave me grace, strength, and courage to keep going. Satan was my enemy on this road. He hurled stones at me, tripped me, tormented me, and tried many ways to instill fear in me. He wanted me to travel a road of defeat. God would not allow him to win over me.
