RFID readers and passive tags will be used in this project for self issuance of books by the patrons and for the security check out and drop box. A drop box is a new idea that that can be used during off hours of library. In future perspective, this project can be used at library management system for a large range of books plus the shelf management option can save the precious time of staff and its anti theft purpose and also can be used in the labs for securing the precious lab apparatus.
