Intentionally high uptakes of copper may cause liver and kidney damage and even death. Whether copper is carcinogenic has not been determined yet. The effect of various parameters like pH, adsorbent dose, initial concentrations of copper ion, contact time and temperature were studied. A comparison of the percentage removal of these adsorbent materials were done to determine which adsorbent material is more suitable for removal of copper present in prepared synthetic samples.
