Jack couldn't help but silently laugh as the child explained that she had always loved his brother Ketih but was determined to not love him this time. Even though he was amused, he found the girl was fascinating, unlike anyone Jack had ever known. She had the ability to see colors in emotions and wore a strange perfume with a scent that changed with her mood. As he listened to the young girl's story, he realized he could use her ability, to help him stop from self destructing and maybe in return if what she said was true, he could direct his brother towards the girl as she blossomed into a beautiful young woman.
