Born in Milwaukee, WI, Jeffrey Leister now lives in northern Illinois. He started writing poetry at the age of thirteen. In 1973, he published a very limited edition containing 37 poems called "Soft Gifts And Eternity". After three attempts over 43 years at writing a conventional novel, he was suddenly inspired to tell a completely different story combining both prose and poetry. He hopes readers will appreciate it's unique form. He continues to write the occasional poem but has yet to put together another collection.
