Cooperation with Russia is a priority area of Belarus' foreign policy. Close interaction between the countries is due to their shared history, culture and language. Media coverage plays an important role in developing and intensifying dialogue between the states today. Newspaper pages, talk shows and radio programmes can serve as platforms for discussing issues of political, economic and cultural cooperation. In addition, information is an important factor that contributes to the intensification of regional cooperation. This study provides a systematic analysis of the functioning of the media in the context of globalisation, identifies the characteristics of regional cooperation coverage, and develops methods for further involvement of Belarus in the international information space within the framework of cooperation with the Russian Federation. The conclusions can be used in the practical activities of modern mass media to cover regional cooperation. The study was conducted under the guidance of Boris Leonidovich Zaleski, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Journalism and Literature at the Institute of Journalism of the Belarusian State University.
