This condition is called brake fade.So to reduce the brake fade operation the design of disc should be such that the heat developed during braking should be easily carried away to the atmosphere so that brake fade operation will not take place. Also reduction of weight can reduce the manufacturing cost along with the inertia effect of the disc.
