This book is based on the Conference on "Applied Statistics and Its Applications", held at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (A Central University), Lucknow- India, during 16-17 March, 2013. The aim of this conference was to bring together the young as well as experienced researchers on one platform to discuss the recent findings in the aforesaid areas of Statistics. After peer - reviewing process, 28 papers were finally included in this book as chapters.
