Now, the aim of involving the local bodies in multidisciplinary applications of nuclear data is in the way. The nuclear reaction cross section data relevant to the production of radionuclides in cyclotrons and at accelerators need more attention. The radionuclides are in practice for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. The tumors are successfully detected by the emitted radiations and then the therapeutic techniques are adopted for their treatment. Nuclear science is for the peace of mankind.
