El Duende is a ten-year-old, prodigy kid who came from a small rural village in El Salvador where he loved and admired the Flor de Izote and El Chipilin plants. His twin brother, El Cipitio, has already served as president of the United States and his mother became the first female Pope. She now lives in the Vatican where she makes Sopa de Chipilin and Flor de Izote con huevos revueltos. El Cipitio book series includes The Lives and Times of El Cipitio Part 1, La Siguanaba and the Magical Loroco Part 2, and now Race Wars: El Cadejo Part 3. Completing a trilogy saga that includes the main characters of El Cipitio, El Duende, La Siguanaba, and El Cadejo.
