Mandy hated birthdays. Everything that was bad in her life happened to her then, such as her parents killed in a car accident, her dog died, she broke her arm, her boyfriend broke up with her. So why was she feeling so excited when she woke up on her seventeenth birthday? Racing down the stairs to get her presents, she found a message from her aunt on the kitchen table. It told her that under no circumstances should she leave the house until she had spoken to her. This was puzzling. What was so important that her aunt needed to tell her? Why couldn't she leave the house? When two police officers knocked on the front door. her whole life was about to change. She was soon to be thrust into a world of witches, shifters and demons that she had previously had no knowledge of.

Autor

Beth has been an avid reader since the age of 15. She began reading her sister's books, starting with the ‘Angéeacute;lique’ series and was completely hooked as a reader. She is an experienced Chemistry / Senior Maths teacher. Since retirement, she became a proof-reader for her niece. As she had read thousands of books, her niece suggested she should write a book of her own. Beth always replied that she was a reader, not a writer. Her daughter became a published author and also insisted that her mother should write her own stories. One day, Beth sat down at the computer with a blank screen, put her fingers on the keys, let her mind go where it wanted to go, and words appeared on the screen. That was the beginning of Quest For The Rei Mala. Beth lives in Ipswich with her husband. Her two daughters and 5 grandchildren live close by.
