Lyon looks at life in a way that stretches the imagination, and the poetic forms that he embraces infuse words with inspirational meaning. His poems are often like a mystery that needs to be solved, and the traces of humor throughout make the reader's journey enjoyable. Some of these poems follow particular forms, schemes, and structures. You will find Alcaic stanzas, a villanelle, a sonnet, a ghazal, a rondeau, a c hastushka, a sestina, and a haiku.
