Autor

Akinwale emigrated to Canada from Nigeria in 1999 to pursue a career as a stockbroker. While studying for the Canadian Securities Course, he discovered the financial planning profession. He began his career at Chartwell Securities and then worked with two prestigious investment firms and a bank, Aim/Trimark Investments, TD Investment Services, and TD Canada Trust, between 1999 and 2006. His love for financial planning led him to teach a series of Money Management classes quarterly in the community and Financial Literacy classes in different parts of the Greater Toronto Area. He likes to explain complex financial concepts in simple everyday terms. Akinwale has a BSc degree in Economics from the University of Lagos, an MSc in Finance from Walden University in Minnesota, and he is a Certified Financial Planner - CFP(R) He is married with two beautiful daughters and has a home in Ajax, Ontario.
