The stories span a timescale ranging from August 1997 to May 2004. This is a change of direction for the Provincial Eye series. Use of the first person narrative gives better insight to the working of Mike Logan's mind and makes the characters more fully flesh and blood. Some of the blank spaces in the so far published history of Logan and the others are filled in.
