While with respect to the development of professionalism and teaching identity, aspects were identified that are of interest from the justification of the need to always develop professionalism and teaching identity. The statistical results made it possible to establish a program based on the critical reflective approach to improve teaching performance in this educational institution, a proposal that is both generalizable and pertinent.
