Around age thirty, my hurts and disappointments spurred me to wonder if God was really interested in me, and if so, what would He have to say to me on a personal level. Rather than to discover Him through thoughts coming from the spiritual insight of others, I asked God to show Himself to me. The study of God is addictive and cleansing and something better than anything I have experienced. Prophecy makes life make sense to me.
