According to the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA), a profession is defined as an occupation that calls for specialized knowledge, a high level of education, and, in some cases, practical experience (CAPA, 2011). All of these things are necessary for a job. A profession is seen as a distinct kind of occupational work, as pointed out by Evetts (2009) and Hargreaves (2000), in contrast to professionalization, which is defined as the way in which a professional group aims to acquire and uphold more characteristics of a profession.
