This book discusses topics like rescheduling strategies, policies and procedures for production scheduling; flow shop scheduling; and heuristic and metaheuristic procedures for treating the scheduling difficulty in an efficient way. To explain this effectively, two test cases are also presented. The first case makes use of simulation, whereas the second presents actual application of a production scheduling system.
