The book documents, the selected probiotics, L. sporogenes, B. subtilis and S. cerevisiae on individual and combined from at optimized concentrations were found to be enhanced the survival, growth, nutritional indices, tissue biochemical components and energy utilization of reared prawn M. rosenbergii. Therefore, it is recommended that L. sporogenes, B. subtilis and S. cerevisiae can be used as a feed additive of supplementary material in formulated feeds for enhancing the growth and production of M. rosenbergeii PL. Thus, aquaculture of Macrobrachium can be promoted in a sustainable manner at grow out level.

Autor

Dr.C.Seenivasan acquired his doctoral degree from Bharathiar University during 2012 and his Masters from the same Uni. He is a nutritionist in Mulpuri Foods and Feeds Pvt Ltd, India. He has published many scientific articles and book chapters in reputed international journals.
