Allisons keen eye and relationship with the camera brings out detail in crime scenes that others simply cant amplify. She is able to disassociate herself from the victims she photographs until she shoots one of Zacharys crimes. This victim is different and not until she reads the obit file, does Allison realize that Denise Haver, the murdered woman, is her old high school friend Denise Park. Or as Allison called her, DeeCee .. The alternative lifestyle and the torture meted by Zachary leaves her virtually unrecognizable.
