When students are well motivated, the objectives of teaching will be achieved (Koko 2000). This study will contribute to exposing how motivation in the classroom will be understood so as to increase academic performance of students. Teachers will be able to identify the best ways of motivating their students to bring them to develop interest in learning, using appropriate motivational techniques for effective teaching and learning and academic achievement of students.
