Agriculture (understood here as agrosilvopastoral activities in their entirety) has always represented a major component in the structural transformation of the Cameroonian economy. In the National Development Strategy (NDS) 2020-2030, the development of agricultural productivity and production is one of the key pillars of Cameroon's development strategy for the coming decade. Indeed, the development of agricultural productivity and production is expected to have a positive impact on the growth of agro-industries, contribute to improved food security, and generate additional income and jobs in the economy. It is divided into six (06) sections.
