This is a study of Century-old Passion Tunes used in Santa Maria, Bulacan, Philippines every Holy Week. The objective of this endeavor is to identify, gather and notate the Century-old Passion Tunes through the interview of old Passion Chanters in the town of Santa Maria, in order to preserve the tradition of Passion Chanting using the Century-old Passion Tunes and hand them over to the generations to come.

Reynaldo DC. del Rosario ist Musiklehrer für die Sekundarstufe. Er hat am 31. März 2019 seinen Master-Abschluss in Kunsterziehung mit Schwerpunkt Musik erworben. Er ist seit 34 Jahren Musiker. Er begann im Alter von 14 Jahren als Bassist. Er war 20 Jahre lang als Banddirigent tätig. 2006 schloss er seinen Kurs für Banddirigenten ab. Er ist Arrangeur und Komponist.
