However, its purpose is not to resolve current theoretical, conceptual and methodological debates, but rather to point out, through a judicious review of the results of the research efforts carried out up to the time of this publication, the advances and challenges for archaeological work in this cultural zone, with emphasis on those related to the Hoya del Quindío. Ultimately, it aims to become a reference framework text for future studies on pre-Hispanic Quindío.
