China presents a clear example of a historically established state, from which its Taiwanese province de facto seceded in 1949. This gives reason to consider Taiwan today as, in fact, a purely capitalist alternative to the civilizational model of the People's Republic of China. The PRC and Taiwan are, in fact, specific variants of the Red and White projects, respectively, implemented by the Global Predictor, which embodies supranational governance in the world. The monograph explores in a broad historical context the political framework and major achievements of the socio-economic development of the PRC and Taiwan. For a more in-depth analysis, the author mainly uses an endogenous common or world growth model of the Kaldorov type with a built-in mechanism of technological progress, taking into account not only physical and human capital, but also time in its role as an event space of creative economic activity.
