Our contemporary society needs to allow us to pause long enough to appreciate our delicate, at times imperceptible relationship with Mother Earth. Planet Earth is listening, her natural order is stressed, she sees our human dilemma, and she is calling us to pay attention. "There is much to be done and even more to readjust. Like many people, I feel overwhelmed by the ecological crisis that continues to mount around the globe. Feelings of helplessness or hopelessness are expected as we reflect on the enormity of what is corrupted, hurting, and already lost. What can any one person do to bring about change? Prayers for Planet Earth or prayers for Mother Earth matter little. The intention to dialogue of Prayers for the climate is a good practice.
