This 2nd volume presents, documents and analyses a new selection of ceramics from the Egyptian site of Manqabad (Asyut). It aims to present the most significant ceramic typologies from Manqabad, while collecting as many references and parallels as possible deriving from several different monastic sites in Egypt.

Autor

Ilaria Incordino has participated in several archaeological missions in Egypt beginning in 2007. She obtained a BA and PhD in Egyptology at the University of Naples "L'Orientale" with her dissertation Chronological Problems of the IIIrd Egyptian Dynasty. A re-examination of the archaeological documents. She has taught Egyptology and organized several conferences, seminars and summer schools at the University of Naples "L'Orientale". She is author of several papers and a monograph about the Bet Khallaf and Manqabad sites and is currently Grantee of the 2022 Shelby White and Leon Levy Program for Archaeological Publication of the Harvard Museum.
