In the present study, Verbesina encelioides (Cav.) Benth. & Hook. Fil. ex Gray has been selected for its germination, tissue culture and phytochemical evaluation along with the selected biological activities, both in vivo and in vitro . The present research work is based on important medicinal plant (also known as unwanted weed) of the herbal remedies,its botanical, pharmacological, phytochemical and in vitro aspects anticipating its possible value in medicinal system.
