Erin Santamaria (she/her), a Canadian tech recruiter and mom living in the USA, turned self-doubt into strength through reading positive mindset books. After a layoff, she deepened her commitment, crafting books for kids to foster early emotional growth and sharing mindset strategies with job seekers-nurturing resilience from childhood to career. Growing up, Erin battled a nagging inner critic, doubting her intelligence and worth. This voice, central to her actions and inactions, seemed unique to her, as conversations with others about negative self-talk were rare. Through different phases of her life, studying the application of a positive mindset helped grow and shift Erin's perspective dramatically.
