The objectives of the studies described in this book were (a) to prepare and evaluate a novel sustained-release tablet formulation that has the potential to be used as a universal dosage form for drugs of different physicochemical properties using a binary mixture of polymethacrylate polymers, and (b) to compare this novel tablet formulation with the interpolyelectrolyte complex (IPEC) tablets in terms of drug release and compressibility.

Autor

Alaa Abuznait Earned his B.Sc. in Pharmacy from University of Jordan in 2004 and M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Technology and Pharmaceutics from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2007. Currently, Mr. Abuznait is a Ph.D. candidate in Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics at University of Louisiana at Monroe, USA.
